Japanese Breathing Series 01–06
The “Breath of Japan” series represents our signature collection, exploring the harmony between traditional washi materials and contemporary form.
When unlit, each piece stands like a quiet sculpture. When illuminated, the fibers and lattice structures of the washi softly emerge, revealing delicate layers of light and shadow.
Each work is unique, bringing depth, rhythm, and a sense of story to the surrounding space.
Japanese Breathing Series 07–12
The Harmony Series 07–12 Building upon the philosophy of the earlier works,
In residential spaces, these lights bring a calm and gentle warmth to living rooms and bedrooms. In hotels and ryokan, they create a memorable Japanese ambiance in lobbies, guest rooms, and shared spaces. In galleries and retail environments, they enhance the presence of artworks and products while shaping the overall atmosphere. Miyabi Workshop’s creations function not only as lighting, but as integral elements of spatial design.
Miyabi Series
The Miyabi Series offers washi lights in a more compact size than the Wano-Kokyuu Series.
Designed to fit naturally into everyday spaces, each light retains the beauty of washi, light and shadow.
Place one on a table, shelf or bedside as a thoughtful gift or a distinctive accent for your home.
