About the Series
This series of LED light objects, born from the artist's original ideas, utilizes Japanese paper and kozo (the raw material for Japanese paper). Each piece features unique forms and expressions of light, bringing a quiet rhythm to the space—a rhythm that could be called the “breath of Japanese aesthetics.”
By combining the texture of traditional Japanese paper with contemporary forms and lighting technology, we crafted it as an art piece that functions in diverse spaces such as galleries, hotels, and residences.

The Concept of “Japanese Breathing”
1. Form created from original ideas
Starting from the artist's sketches and inspirations, each piece is designed to possess a completely distinct silhouette and expression of light.
2. Traditional Materials × Modern Design
Combining traditional Japanese materials like washi paper and kozo fiber with LED light sources and minimalist forms, it expresses a “world of Japanese aesthetics” where tradition and contemporary elements naturally blend together.

Artist and Craftsmanship
The Breath of Harmony series is born from the convergence of the artist's vision and the handiwork of washi paper artisans and lighting craftsmen.
Selecting washi paper, cutting it, layering it, shaping it, and then prototyping and adjusting the light— Before a single piece is completed, we repeatedly introduce light to confirm its nuances.
It is precisely this “slight fluctuation” born through that process that lends it the presence of an art piece, something mass-produced items lack.
