雅工房について
雅工房は、伝統的な日本の和紙を用いた照明作品を制作し、現代の空間にやさしい光と影のリズムを届けています。
工房は日本・福井県にあり、古くから和紙の産地として知られる土地で、職人の手仕事と現代的な造形美を融合させた作品づくりを行っています。
01理念
私たちは「光はただ照らすだけでなく、空間に息づく存在である」と考えています。 和紙を透かす柔らかな光は、静けさと調和、時間の移ろいを感じさせる日本独自の美を表現します。
02Materials and Techniques
使用する和紙は、職人の手によって自然素材から漉き上げられたもの。 耐久性を高める加工を施し、現代の生活空間でも安心して使用できるよう仕上げています。
03デザインへの想い
構造とやわらかさの均衡を大切にしながら、光そのものを「彫刻」としてデザインしています。 不均整や影の美を尊ぶ「わびさび」の精神を大切にしています。
04工房
在庫のある作品と、受注制作の作品をご用意しています。サイズ・光色・設置方法など、ご希望に応じたカスタマイズも承ります。 製作と検品はすべて福井の工房で行い、国内外へお届けしています。

About Miyabi Workshop
Miyabi Workshop creates lighting objects from traditional Japanese washi paper — bringing the quiet rhythm of light and shadow into modern living spaces.
Our studio is located in Fukui, Japan, a region known for its centuries-old papermaking heritage. Each piece is handcrafted with care, combining washi techniques with a minimalist, architectural design sense.
01Our Philosophy
We believe that light should do more than illuminate — it should breathe life into a space. The soft glow filtering through washi paper expresses a uniquely Japanese sense of beauty: harmony, simplicity, and the passage of time.
02Materials & Technique
All washi is made by skilled artisans using natural fibers. We carefully reinforce and seal it for durability, allowing the lamps to be used safely in modern interiors while maintaining the warmth of handmade craft.
03Design Approach
Our creations balance structure and softness. They are not only lighting fixtures, but also quiet sculptures — reflecting the beauty of imperfection, asymmetry, and shadow that defines Japanese aesthetics (wabi-sabi).
04Studio
We offer both in-stock pieces and made-to-order artworks. Please contact us about custom dimensions, light colour or installation options. All production and quality inspection are done in our Fukui workshop before worldwide shipping.
