Sparkling – Layered washi diffusing light into shimmering subtleties

Slender strips of washi are layered to form delicate feather-like edges around the column. When illuminated, light settles along each edge, causing subtle reflections and transmissions to ripple around the surface—rising into a quiet “sparkle,” just as its name suggests. Though never overwhelming, its expression grows richer the closer you get, as countless tiny points of light sway with every movement and shift in perspective, giving the space a gentle rhythm.

The lamp uses a low-glare linear LED. The fibers of the washi soften the light, balancing calm brightness at the core with fine highlights along the outer edges. Soft gradients of shadow stretch across the walls and floor. By day, it stands like a sculpture; by night, the delicate edges glow as if breathing—an ever-changing presence that defines its allure.
