A floor light that lets you enjoy shadows.
Hannari is a washi floor lamp that invites the enjoyment of shadow. Soft light from a bulb-type LED gently permeates outward, while the shimmering vertical line running through the center acts as a visual spine, giving depth and rhythm to the latticework of paper. The exposed texture of kozo fibers on the outer layer captures the light and overlaps gracefully with the smooth glow within, creating an elegant presence that feels almost dressed in refinement.
By day, it stands with sculptural composure; by night, it envelops the room in a moonlit gradation, bringing warmth and quiet atmosphere. The softness of washi and the linear form balance naturally, adding subtle sophistication without excess. Designed with a contemporary line drawn through traditional material, it harmonizes with both Japanese and Western interiors, becoming an art piece that brings a sense of “space and story” to the environment.
